He is most interested in doing the artwork on 20" x
30" board and charges $3,000-$3,500 for most non-X-Men pieces with 6
characters and $5,000 for X-Men pieces with 6 characters. Additional
characters are $250 each. The actual price will be determined when John
agrees to do the piece.
He has also accepted a few smaller sized commissions on 11" x 17" board;
the rates are:
$1,100 - for a single figure "non-X-Men" pen and ink pinup type shot
w/background, he is willing to do additional characters at an additional
cost of $100 each..
$1,500 for a single figure pen and ink pinup type shot featuring an
X-Men character w/background, he is willing to do additional characters
at an additional cost of $100 each.
$550 - for a single figure pen and ink illo with no background
He also has done some pencil-only pieces; the prices for these are the
same as for pen and ink pieces.
I will send the finished artwork out domestically via U.S. Postal
Service Registered Mail and will charge exact postage which is usually
$15 - $20 for smaller sized commissions and $40 - $50 for large sized
ones. I will also ship overseas via U.S. Postal Service Express Mail and
will charge exact postage which is usually $25-$30 for smaller sized
commissions and $100 for large commissions.
We do not accept any deposits on the commissions until John is ready to
begin work on the piece.
